Animals such as: Horses, Deer, bison, antelope, birds, gophers, prairie dogs, coyotes, insects, lynx, antelopes, falcons, and fox. Most animals that live in grasslands eat plants, or predators hunt for prey.
Plants: Grass, there are many different species of grass. Such as: Purple needlegrass, wild oats, foxtail, ryegrass, and buffalo grass. Many animals like to munch on these. The grass still survives because it is so close to the ground so it reproduces faster.
